Vascular & Endovascular Surgery
The full gamut of vascular and endovascular surgery is available at Chestnut Hill Hospital. This includes minimally invasive repair of blocked leg arteries and repair of aortic aneurysms. These vessels can be fixed with small catheters that dilate blockages and then place stents across the previously blocked area to keep the blood flowing. Occasionally an open or “old-fashioned” vascular repair is necessary, but the majority of the patients can be treated with these minimally invasive techniques and discharged promptly. Dr. Kahn also performs carotid artery surgery and vascular access procedures for dialysis. We have a full service vascular lab for your studies and Dr. Kahn performs diagnostic and interventional angiography in the operating room, as part of his minimally invasive interventions.
